I find it king of funny that me, Olivia, and Drew are the only people who still use inkos!! I just realized that!! Yeah, that’s all I wanted to say!
So, tomorrow I’m going to go to UVA so my brother can have a tour of the school. My brother cannot make up his mind about college! First Duke, then Burkly, now UVA! Anyway, we’re going to be waking up at 5:00 in the morning, so I should probably be asleep by now, but I don’t feel like it, so I’m going to keep typing. I don’t know exactly what we’re going to be touring, but I know for sure that we’re going to see the Drama part of the school. I hope that we get to see the music section! If it’s awesome, then I’ll really think about going to UVA for college. After the touring stuff, we’re going to visit my uncle in Galax.
Once we get back from Galax, my brother and I are going to be volunteering at VBS (Vacation Bible School) in the Song Team. That means taht we’re going to be singing, dancing, and teaching kids songs all day for a week. It’s fun because the kids are not as crazy as some other kids I know. Plus, there’s going to be a break room where volunteers go in and eat and chill out.
The two weeks after VBS is done, I’m going to be going to PAVAN (Performing Arts and Visual Art Northern). It’s a Governer’s School for the……..arts. I’m going in for the choir stuff. Last year, IT WAS AWESOME!!! It was so much better than normal school (no offense to Mr. Stephens). The loooooonnnnnnnggggggg bus ride is from Ashburn to Winchester. It’s a good thing that I have tons of pillows and blankets to bring to catch up on sleep while riding on the bus. The bad thing about that: the bus is always crowded. This girl sat done in the seat next to me while my whole body was spread about the seat! It was a good thing I knew what was happening or else my feet would’ve been crushed by her butt!
Summer is going to be fun yet very very very tiring.

One
Look at them closely
What do you see?
Somebody who’s like
You and Me
Two
Look at the person
Just look again
Is their something
That’s bothering them
Three
See through their eyes
Is it obvious yet
The person needs you
They need a friend

So, it’s finally Friday, which means no school today. I could finally catch up on sleep, and man I feel great. Right now, I’m just doing two things:
1) Doing stuff that I love to do and don’t have time to do
and
2) Mentally preparing myself for the second night of musical tonight.
I’ll be up right mortified when the musical is over. I loved everyday of it, knowing that we were always going to do something new. Okay, I’ve got nothing else to say, so, bye!

Three ways that I see life:
Loveable people that can
Irritate you at times but you still have to love them.
Family members who love you
Even when you make the biggest mistake ever
Listening to every word that you buddy says
Ignoring words from here to there
Friends you love and hate and whom you may
Even want to date!
Life before paradise
Instantly waiting
For happiness to come
Even though you already have it

I’ve been looking at a lot of blogs with a lot of comments in them.
I would say about 90% of those comments say something like, “This is very descriptive.”
I’m not blaming anybody for using this comment because I do it too. It just seems like it’s the only thing that we can say when we can’t describe the blog in any other way. It’s either that or we just want to get the commenting over and done with and that’s the first thing that comes to mind.
I just wanted to do a quick blog about that!
So…..yeah! I have nothing more to say!

I was just doing my homework when my brother called out to me, “HEY JESS!!! YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!!”
Couldn’t he see that I was busy doing something else?! “Not right now, Julian,” I said calmly.
“JESS!!! YOU NEEEEEEEDDDDD TO SEE THIS!! LIKE I’M NOT EVEN KIDDING!!!”
I kept on ignoring him and continued my homework.
My brother wasn’t ready to give up yet. So, he began reading what was on his computer. He read, “‘One species of jellyfish has no lifespan limits because it can manipulate its cells.’”
What a minute, I thought, If it has no lifespan, that means…..
“It doesn’t die?” I asked out loud.
“Oh yeah!” Julian said
I couldn’t believe it, so I got up from my chair and looked at his computer screen. He was not kidding. There was a jellyfish that could live forever. Along with the article that he was reading, there was a picture of the jellyfish: a futuristic looking creature with a see-throught body so you can see its insides. I thought that that was so cool! If you want to check it out, go to yahoo.com. It’s going to be the first thing you see.

When I was in second grade, my teacher said, “Hey! Who wants there poem to be published?”
Four other second graders and I were all like, “Oh! I want to!”
So, my teacher said, “Okay! I’ll send in your poems.”
So, my poem was sent in, and it was published in the 2003 edition of Anthologyy of Poetry by Young Americans. I was so stoked!
But, honestly, now that I look at my poem in the book, I don’t think it’s that good. So, here’s the poem that got published:
My teacher’s the best
She gives us a test
We all have fun
And then we run
How or why this poem got published? I will never know.
